Trash prints is a guerrilla art gallery based in Norwich dedicated to the glory of the now deleted and once discarded. Their mission is to look beyond the daily detritus and bring out the beauty in yesterday’s everyday, throw-away design.
Many mistake their serigraphy for photography but these are all hand-pulled screen prints, each one subverting the idea of rubbish whilst reclaiming the treasure to be found in the TRASH from all our pasts.
There’s something very pleasing about being reminded of the joys from our youth, sounds of that summer or the taste or smell you can’t forget when you’re reminded of the first time you sensed it, at TRASH they nurture nostalgia that is good for the soul.
