After completing her BA(Hons) in Illustration at The University for the Creative Arts in Kent Georgia spent 4 years living in Brighton. She loved the buzz of the city, the sea and the many creative and passionate people she met.
Georgia set up a small business called ‘Daubs & Dashes’ where she created hand painted silk scarves reflecting her travels around Iceland and Italy. They were stocked in galleries, small boutiques, online stores, and spotted in Harpers Bazaar Magazine. Georgia has always been keen to experiment with new techniques and materials. These influence and inform one another; helping the work to stay fresh and enable it to continually evolve.
Since moving to Buckinghamshire she has renovated an old building at the end of the garden creating a gorgeous new studio space. These changes have energised a new phase of work. Creating more colourful and abstract designs.
